Intelligent Compression Technologies, Inc. (ICT) announced that it has signed Centia as its distribution partner for the United Kingdom and Ireland. Under the agreement, Centia will leverage its distribution channels for remote access products to drive business opportunities for ICT's AcceleNet product line. AcceleNet enables broader-band like speed performance on narrowband (wireless, dial-up) networks using advanced compression and protocol optimization techniques which dramatically reduces the time it takes to download Email and attachments, Intranet files and view the Internet, while maintaining data integrity.
As the leading Citrix distributor in Europe, Centia is well equipped to understand and sell into the Enterprise and Service Provider markets for remote access. Centia's customers appreciate the value that data acceleration can bring in terms of productivity and cost savings to business users as well as a value added service revenue to service providers. The partnership is a key part of ICT's sales strategy of selling to Enterprises through a select group of resellers and distributors.
